A log cabin in the green Tennessee woods

Pull up a chair and stay awhile

Welcome to Mamaw’s Cabin

I’m learning to quilt in my little cabin in the Tennessee woods, and I’m sharing every stitch along the way.

Where it all begins

My quilting journey

Hi, I’m Patricia, but my grandbabies call me Mamaw. I’m brand new to quilting. I’m learning one block at a time right here at my kitchen table, with plenty of seam ripping along the way.

I started this little corner of the internet to keep track of what I learn and to share it with you as I go. If you’re just starting out too, you’re in good company. We’ll figure it out together.

Simple helpers I’m building: turn a photo into a cut-out pattern, or work out yardage and step-by-step directions.

Thank you for stopping by the cabin. Come back and sit a spell.

With love from the Tennessee woods,
Mamaw
